Waxing/Sugaring Guide

How to prep for a wax:
- Allow your hair to grow out for 2-3 weeks prior to your appointment.
- Exfoliate areas that will be serviced 24-48 hours prior to the appointment.
- Please refrain from having caffeine before your appointment.
-You can totally get waxed on your period although it may be more sensitive. Prior to the appointment just insert a fresh tampon or cup.
-Avoid tanning or sun-bathing for at least 24 hours prior to your appointment. 
-You can take over the counter pain medicine prior to your appointment.
-Discontinue the use of any acne or anti-aging prescription such as: Resin-A, Differin, Tretinoin for at least two weeks prior to waxing or sugaring. 
-You can not get serviced while actively taking Accutane and must be off it for at least a year to start waxing/sugaring.   
The next 24 hours:
The twenty-four hours after are going to be your rest and reset.
Please avoid the following:

- Working out
- Pools, hot tubs, baths, lakes, beaches etc.
- Steamy showers and saunas 
- Any sexual activity 
-Wearing tight clothing 
- Exfoliating 
-Tanning beds or sunbathing 
Daily Aftercare:
The key to good results is aftercare.
- Daily exfoliation is recommend to help avoid ingrown hairs and irritation post hair removal. Personalized recommendations will be given during your appointment. 
-Moisturize daily with a water-based gel and stay hydrated.
-Avoid shaving and trimming in-between appointments. 
-Book your next appointment for 4-6 weeks.
