Please come in with at least 2-3 weeks of hair growth if you are coming off of shaving. 6 Does waxing hurt? Waxing can be a little spicy but it's quick and will be over before you know it. 7 How long does waxing last? With consistency and proper aftercare your wax will typically last four weeks. Of course this is case by case but it's our general rule of thumb. 8 Can I get waxed on my period or while pregnant? Yes, you can get waxed while pregnant or being on your period. It may be more sensitive due to extra blood flow but we will try to make you as comfortable as possible. 9 Do I need to remove my jewelry prior to waxing? Removing jewelry from the area will make the waxing process a lot easier however it's not a requirement. Prior to the appointment just insert a fresh tampon or cup. -Avoid tanning or sun-bathing for at least 24 hours prior to your appointment. -You can take over the counter pain medicine prior to your appointment. -Discontinue the use of any acne or anti-aging prescription such as: Resin-A, Differin, Tretinoin for at least two weeks prior to waxing or sugaring. -You can not get serviced while actively taking Accutane and must be off it for at least a year to start waxing/sugaring. The next 24 hours: The twenty-four hours after are going to be your rest and reset. Please avoid the following: - Working out - Pools, hot tubs, baths, lakes, beaches etc. - Steamy showers and saunas - Any sexual activity -Wearing tight clothing - Exfoliating -Tanning beds or sunbathing Daily Aftercare: The key to good results is aftercare. - Daily exfoliation is recommend to help avoid ingrown hairs and irritation post hair removal. policy guide Policy Guide At Skyeology client safety and satisfaction is our number one priority. These policies have been carefully thought over to provide every client with that while still maintaining the integrity of our business. Retainer Fee : All appointments require this fee to be made prior to securing the agreed time slot. The fee does go towards the overall cost of the service and is transferrable for one reschedule as long as it is within 30 days of the original appointment. The fee is non-refundable unless a cancellation occurs and we are at fault. Late Policy : Each appointment is allotted a certain amount of time for the esthetician to complete it. Being on time ensures that you as the client have the ability to receive the full service. With that being said we completely understand life happens and that is okay. We do offer a five minute grace period for all appointments. If you will be more the five minutes late, reach out to us in advance so that we are aware and can discuss any changes that may need to be made. After five minutes all appointments are subjected to cancellation. Cancellation Polic y: All cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance . Anything under 24 hours will consider a late cancellation. After two late cancellations future appointments will have to be paid in full prior to securing a slot. No-Show Policy : We understand things happen so please try to communicate with us. After one no-show you will be required to pay for the entire service up front before securing an appointment. If a second instance occurs then you will be banned from booking. Rescheduling : If you need to rescheduled an appointment, it has to be done within 24 hours of the original appointment time. If you reschedule in less than 24 hours a $30 fee will be applied to the new appointment. Refunds : All services are non-refundable once rendered. If you are unsatisfied with your service please contact us within 48 hrs of your appointment so that we can make the necessary accommodations.
